It’s a big decision that the Denmark. This Friday, February 11, 2022, the reference newspaper Politics released an article announcing that the country was ending its vaccination campaign once morest Covid-19 given the number of vaccinated in the country and the recent number of contamination with the variant Omicron.

A measure full of hope
Is the Covid-19 health crisis coming to an end? In any case, that’s what everyone hopes. Indeed, for more than two years now, the whole world has been living to the rhythm of the health crisis. This virus, which arrived straight from China, literally paralyzed the whole world for several months.
While all the specialists thought that the situation was going to be under control, everything quickly degenerated and countries around the world were forced to confine themselves for several weeks. Citizens therefore waited impatiently the arrival of vaccine in order to stem the virus once and for all.
Denmark stops vaccination
Unfortunately, despite a massive vaccination campaign, the arrival of the new variant Omicron questioned everything. Indeed, the latter resisted the vaccine even if the contracted virus was much less virulent and less dangerous than the previous one.
And this Friday, February 11, 2022, Denmark has just taken a totally unprecedented decision. According to the website Politicsthe country has decided to end vaccination once morest Covid-19 in view of the number of people already vaccinated in the country, according to local authorities, Covid-19 is no longer considered to be “a socially critical disease. The decision was made because population immunity is high. A very large part of the population received a third dose and that a high number were infected with Omicron”.
