Al-Issawi said in a tweet, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Oh, you who sacrificed yourselves for the sake of the homeland, we will remain your best support in adversity.”
He added, “We congratulate the Ministry of Interior and all its formations on the 101st anniversary of the establishment of the Iraqi police.”
The Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani, confirmed today, Monday, that the government will spare no effort in supporting the police apparatus, indicating that the government program stressed the importance of strengthening community security as a key to the overall security process in Iraq.
A statement by the media office of the Prime Minister, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani attended the central ceremony held by the Ministry of Interior on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the establishment of the Iraqi police, and he was received by the Minister of Interior, leaders and officials in the ministry. “.
Al-Sudani said, “We stand with you today to celebrate a hundred and one years since the establishment of the Iraqi police, whose age is measured by the age of the modern Iraqi state, and is associated with it,” noting that “these years of your work were the path of law enforcement, and the hand of justice that preserves society’s peace.” and security, and preserve the rights of people, and apply equality before the law.
He added, “The Iraqi police were part of our people’s ability to maintain their cohesion, despite all the serious challenges that the Iraqi state went through, and despite all the causes of ruin for civil peace, whether left by dictatorship or what was left by wars and deviations of power, through very difficult eras that passed over the years.” Our people,” pointing out that “through these years of the existence of this important executive body, police and moral norms and traditions have been consolidated, and your role has crystallized according to the law, regardless of the will of the ruler over the years.”

And he continued, “The Iraqi police today is the tool of the law and the hand created by the constitution to protect all the constants and adoptions of our society,” explaining that “the people today enjoy peace and stability in the street, the city, markets, and institutions, thanks to the sacrifices made by the martyrs of Barra, from the sons of the police, who sacrificed their lives to deter crime and terrorism, and the preservation of our daily lives.”

Al-Sudani stressed that “the government will spare no effort in supporting the police apparatus and the work of the Ministry of Interior with all modern capabilities, technologies, expertise and competencies that raise the level of readiness and performance,” pointing out that “our government program stressed the importance of strengthening community security as a key to the overall security process in Iraq.” .
Al-Sudani addressed the Iraqi police by saying: “Observance of human rights in the performance of your duties in accordance with the law is a consistent approach to our work and your work,” indicating that “serving our people is the goal we aspire to, and this is what the heroes in the Ministry of Interior must keep in mind.”
He pointed out, “The Iraqi police carry out many duties, related to people’s personal documents, combating crime and supporting the judiciary. Therefore, supporting specializations and adopting young talents are among the priorities of our plan to advance this vital sector,” stressing that “the doors of this service field will be open to young people.” Iraq and its youth, in order to compete to serve this honorable people.
