“We will always have you in our hearts”: the special messages ten years after the death of Sergio “Sapito” Livingstone

The prominent former soccer player and sports commentator, Sergio “Sapito” Livingstone, moved on social networks following his relatives, former club and fans remembered him 10 years following his death.

On September 11, 2012, “Toad” Livingstone was filled with sadness following leaving at 92 years of age due to cardiac arrest. His son, Sergio Livingstone used his social networks to dedicate emotional words to him commemorating his life.

“10 years ago the best part of my life, my adored and unforgettable father, left. We will always have you in our hearts, ”he pointed out on his Twitter account, receiving affectionate messages.

His former sports club, Universidad Católica also dedicated special words to him, sharing photos of the memory and highlighting his achievements in the team.

“Today marks another year since the departure of a historic #LosCruzados and @LaRoja: the great Sergio Livingstone. The beloved toad was essential to get our first stars in 1949 and 1954, plus the 1956 Ascent. We will never forget you!”, they pointed out, while followers honored him with photos and videos of the memory.
