It will not have escaped your notice that as it stands, the range of RDNA 3 graphics cards is quite distended: the Radeon RX 7900 XTX and XT on the one hand, at prices starting at around 849 euros, the Radeon RX 7600 from the other, a reference offered from 299 euros. AMD should, however, fill this void in the coming weeks. by launching Radeon RX 7800, RX 7700, but also an RX 7900. However, the latter would not be the “world” version of the Radeon RX 7900 GRE marketed in China recently.

Regarding the Radeon RX 7800 and RX 7700, we had an idea of the prices through the leaker All_The_Watts!! regarding ten days ago. Only as we wrote, it’s not the most reliable source in the business. The latter indicated prices of respectively 559 and 449 dollars respectively. These amounts would correspond to a high estimate. Indeed, Tom from the Moore’s Law is Dead channel puts forward price ranges of 499 – 549 dollars for the RX 7800, 399 – 449 dollars for the RX 7700. In gross conversion, this gives 453 – 489 euros and 362 – 407 euros. Unfortunately, AMD does not apply such a favorable rate for European customers, not to mention the additional taxes.
An atypical Radeon RX 7900 with 70 compute units?
About the RX 7900, the Radeon RX 7900 GRE is an RX 7900 XT with less VRAM. The RX 7900 planned for the European and American market would be different: it would only have 70 compute units and not 84. This card would therefore be positioned a little closer to the RX 7800 XT than to the RX 7900 XT, the first being suspected of having 60 calculation units. We don’t know how much dedicated video memory this card has, but the GRE model has 16GB.

For the prices of this reference, Tom mentions sums between 579 and 649 dollars, or 525 and 589 euros. Recall that the RX 7900 XT was released at a recommended price of 899 dollars (but can be found from 760 dollars in the United States now). Finally, Tom warns that stocks of RX 7900 will be quite limited.
