A surprising confession made by actor Tom Felton in his new autobiographical book, and it is strictly related to a case of bullying during the filming of the movies Harry Potter. There, the man behind the role of Draco Malfoy revealed that, just like on screen, he used to annoy one of his castmates.
Specifically, in the work Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a WizardFelton acknowledges that on more than one occasion he made fun of Emma Watson, the outstanding actress behind the character of Hermione Granger.
The actor pointed out that these actions took place several years ago, when both were still very young. Watson, for example, was just nine years old and he was twelve.
“With my companions we approached where Emma was dancing and we began to laugh harder and harder as she danced,” he recalled in the text.
He quickly made a mea culpa regarding it: “We were being shitty kids, shameless and all because we thought it was cool to annoy people.”
“But Emma,” her account continued, “was visibly upset by our nonsensical reaction. I felt like an idiot and I still do.”
Luckily, Draco Malfoy’s interpreter concluded, over time he had the opportunity to apologize for his conduct.
“It was a stupid and typical adolescent act, things that happen every day,” closed the British, following ensuring that the actress accepted his apology.
