following being accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr ZelenskyRussia’s attempt to destroy his country through violent explosions and intense missile shelling that shook the capital, Kyiv, and dozens of Ukrainian cities, on Monday morning, Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov commented on the events.
Kadyrov addressed his words to his Ukrainian counterpart, stressing that he had previously warned him once morest standing up to Moscow.
“Not yet started”
“We warned you Zelensky, Russia has not started yet,” he added in a comment posted on Telegram.
The Chechen president had announced earlier that thousands of fighters had been sent to participate in the “Russian military operation” in Ukraine.
These statements came following Kyiv and other cities witnessed, since the morning, violent explosions and intense missile shelling.
Intense bombing, killing and wounding
The Russian bombardment affected “several” cities, such as Lviv, Dnipro and Ternopil, as well as Kharkiv and Zaporizhia as well.
Meanwhile, power outages were recorded in dozens of cities, amid calls for residents to stay in shelters, especially in Kyiv, where more than 8 people were killed and dozens injured.
It is noteworthy that these attacks came following several warnings that Moscow might escalate its military strikes, following the incident that occurred on the Crimean Bridge last Saturday, in which it blamed the Ukrainian intelligence.
