Lionel Messi is the best player in world football. The Argentinian legend is currently part of French club PSG. Messi in PSG was not even a shadow of his performance in Barcelona in the past.
Major League Soccer team Inter Miami wants to bring Messi to the team in the future. Major League Soccer is the American Soccer League. Inter Miami, the premier team in the league known as ALS, is co-owned by former England footballer David Beckham.
Inter Miami’s chief business officer Xavier Asensi hopes to land Messi if he decides to move to MLS at some point in his career. Asensi’s response is amid rumors that Messi, who is currently playing for PSG, will move to Inter Miami if his career ends.

‘Will we acquire players like Messi? Of course, but only with some caveats. You cannot compare any other star to Messi, he is different. In saying that, we are looking for a reference point in American football. “Messi can be the reference point for American football,” said Xavier.
He added that a big player like Messi is needed to move American football forward and the biggest wish is to bring Messi to the team.
“American football needs great players to be the reference point. It is also our sincere desire to bring them into the team. “If we bring Messi into the team, we can change things to him and then the rest,” Asensi told Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo.
Asensi, who previously worked in Barcelona, said that it was only Messi’s decision to join Inter Miami. He commented that Inter Miami will try to make the best players part of the team and Messi is the best player in the world.
Messi’s PSG contract runs until 2023. The contract also has an agreement that it can be renewed for one more year following that. But even at the age of thirty-five, the star, who has no shortage of talent, is likely to stay in Europe for a few more years.
