We turn our eyes to Asylum Direct on January 31

Are you a fan of indie games? You won’t want to miss Indie Asylum’s first date on January 31st. The collective of independent studios is preparing its very first Asylum Direct to present its new products. The showcase will allow, among others, the games BIOMORPH, Two Falls and Roots of Yggdrasil to show themselves more.

Several games to plan

Players will have the chance to have something for everyone as each game explores a different genre. First, BIOMORPH wants to be a soulslike metroidvania fast-paced with a stunning 2D look. Expect to solve several puzzles, navigate the platforms of each level and face fearsome enemies. This will already be a second project for Lucid Dreams Studio, which also delivered Legends of Ethernal in 2020.

For its part, Two Falls is a narrative game where you will follow the adventures of two adventurers. We find Jeanne who saw her ship run aground far from the French colonies as well as Maika, a young Innu who must travel west while his village is afflicted by a strange illness. What will happen when their paths cross? This is the very first title from the Unreliable Narrators studio.

Finally, more news is expected from Roots of Yggdrasil game which is developed by Manavoid Entertainment. The studio had also delivered the excellent Rainbow Billy in 2021. This one is for fans of city builder et roguelike and Norse mythology. The game immerses us following the terrible Ragnarok and the player must rebuild the World Tree Yggdrasil to restore balance to the kingdom.

Un premier Asylum Direct

In addition to these three games, Asylum Direct will also allow the collective to present a first look at new games as well as updates on the studios of Indie Asylum. We therefore meet on January 31 at 12:30 ET on Youtube or Twitch.
