We thank the Emirates and the earthquake disaster strengthened relations

Ali Ihsan Arslan, advisor to the Turkish president, thanked the United Arab Emirates for its support and support for his country in the devastating earthquake disaster.

Arslan said, in exclusive statements to Al-Ain News, that he gives “great thanks to all the officials of the United Arab Emirates and its people, led by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.”

He added, “We are grateful for the feelings of brotherhood and friendship shown by the United Arab Emirates in the crisis that Turkey is going through, as the UAE stood by Turkey in its most difficult times.”

“Although the earthquake was devastating to the country, it strengthened the relations between the two countries,” said Arslan, a deputy of the city of Ankara for the ruling Justice and Development Party, expressing his hope that relations between the two countries would continue in this way.

Arslan expressed his hope that the bilateral relations between the two countries will be transformed into economic cooperation, which will positively affect both countries, hoping that Emirati investments in Turkey will increase in the coming period.

The United Arab Emirates is still extending a helping hand to Turkey and Syria following the devastating earthquake that struck the two countries on February 6.

In a video message to the World Government Summit following the earthquake, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan thanked Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, for sending aid to Turkey to support it in the earthquake crisis.

In his statements, Erdogan stressed his country’s keenness on the security of the Gulf and the Middle East region, pointing to Ankara’s endeavor to be a bridge for relations between countries.
