“We put ourselves out of the game”

The Norwegian midfielder still wants to be positive, because Genk has his fate in his hands.

Kristian Thorstvedt was not as disillusioned as his goalkeeper following Genk’s loss to Club Brugge on Sunday. However, he pointed to a major weakness in his team.

“It’s really difficult to accept the goals we concede. In the first half, we had a plan and we stuck to it, we even had chances but we conceded goals far too easily. After the 2 -1, and even following the red card, we still had some but if it was necessarily more complicated. We put ourselves out of the game by conceding goals like that”.

But the tall Norwegian wants to be positive: “We still have two matches to play, but above all to win to continue our season”. Otherwise, it will be a total failure… and the holidays.
