Is the Russian invasion your current daily life?
Since February 24, there have been many meetings between European and NATO ministers. Day and night, we don’t stop. We also have, within the framework of NATO, secure video calls with the Ukrainian Minister of Defence. Today, we are also anticipating possible scenarios.
What are these scenarios?
It’s not easy to decide. It is Vladimir Putin who has all the cards in hand. What we see is that the Russian plans were thwarted in the sense that he did not expect such resistance from the Ukrainian army and people. Nor even to have such a united bloc at the level of NATO and the European Union. Unfortunately, as the conflict lasts, it has released much more violent and destructive weapons, compared to the precision weapons of the beginning. Given the way it’s going, we can unfortunately think that it will last for weeks more, with more damage.
