We must all play our game to beat Venezuela, says Alfaro

Asunción, IP Agency.-The coach of the Paraguayan Soccer Team is excited about this Tuesday’s transcendent game against the Venezuelan team, at 8:00 p.m. at the Defensores del Chaco.

“We know that the test is going to be very difficult. The 90 minutes ahead of us are going to be tremendous. Venezuela knows what it is playing and we have a wealth in the squad that we still have to translate into numbers,” declared Gustavo Alfaro, at a press conference.

He noted that “With what we did in these games it is not enough for us, the game against Venezuela will be very difficult and we must all play our game.”

He stressed that the support of the people will be essential. I know I’m going to see a packed Defensores del Chaco. The country perceived that these players are recovering their essence. “We are learning from the past to build our future,” remarked the Argentine.

For Alfaro, not only will the players have their match, but we all also have the responsibility to carry out the crucial duel against Venezuela.

“We have to understand that we all play our game. We achieve this together. I only came to try to get us all behind an idea, which is to go to the World Cup,” he emphasized.

“This match is going to be the most complex of all. In front of us we have a team that proposes the same thing as us. These are the most difficult Qualifiers in the world and in the end those who are resistant will arrive. We must resist in adversity and that is not negotiable,” stated the red-haired coach.
