We Love Green hits hard in 2023 with Bon Iver, Skrillex, Phoenix, Orelsan, The Blaze, Lomepal…

The last edition of We Love Green was epic, with one of the three days stopped and then canceled by a huge storm and 40,000 spectators evacuated. The group Phoenix had to cancel its headlining performance on Saturday evening. The new edition sounds like revenge for the Parisian festival, which unveils a particularly enticing first poster on Monday, with many French exclusives, including the Americans Bon Iver, Anderson. Paak and Pusha T, and unique Parisian dates, like Orelsan and… Phoenix. A handful of artists, including a headliner, are yet to be announced in the coming weeks.

It’s the biggest seller of records of the last two years that will close the first day of the festival. It will be one of the rare summer festivals in Orelsan, which ended its “Civilization Tour” last December. Friday, June 2 will be rich with NxWorries, the new soul project from the brilliant Anderson. Paak with producer Knxwledge, electro duo The Blaze, Parisian rapper PLK, whose new album is highly anticipated and Swedish Yung Lean, revealed on TikTok with his hit “Ginseng Strip 2002″.

The second day, June 3, also promises to be particularly enticing with the duo Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul, who released an excellent first album last year, a big rap program – Channel Tres, Little Simz, Gazo, 070 Shake and Pusha T – before Honey Dijon, the favorite DJ of Madonna and Beyoncé, the 20th anniversary of the cult electro label Ed Banger with his boss Pedro Winter and the bosses of pop Phoenix, in full world tour.

Pomme, Jack Johnson, Tems…

The third and last day will be the most eclectic and eventful with the electro pop sensation Aimé Simone, the soul of the Gabriels trio, the symphonic pop of the American Caroline Polachek (ex-Chairlift), Pomme, the return of surfer Jack Johnson, the rappers Tems – who just won a Grammy! -, Dinos and the winning trio Bon Iver, Skrillex and Lomepal in the final fireworks. Not to mention all the artists we don’t yet know, like the intriguing violinist from Los Angeles Sudan Archives…

But We Love Green is not just avant-garde music. It is also, as its name suggests, an innovative and eco-responsible event, a place where the life-size festival of tomorrow can be imagined. Among the novelties, we will recycle waste through twelve channels, we will test edible tableware and we will eat 100% vegetarian, both festival-goers and artists and teams. Finally, the Playground space will give a taste of the Paris Olympics with one of the last Olympic disciplines, skateboarding.
