Maquette was talked regarding last year, during an Annapurna Interactive Showcase. Originally announced for a release last winter on Xbox, the first-person puzzle game had taken a bit of a delay. It is now on the way to being playable on our consoles.
Expected release July 19
Maquette is a puzzle game in first person view and puts you in the heart of a love story, in bright and shimmering settings. Its port to Xbox consoles was announced just a year ago and it will now be possible to play it in the days to come.
Maquette is a recursive first-person puzzle game that takes you into a world where every building, plant, and object is both tiny and incredibly large. Maquette makes this possible by twisting the world into itself recursively, like an MC Escher.
If you go to the center of the world, you will feel like a giant, towering over buildings and walls. But if you venture further, you’ll start to feel small as things get bigger and bigger – to the point where the cracks in the ground become chasms.
In Maquette, you’ll explore the scales of everyday issues in a modern love story. Where sometimes the smallest problems can become insurmountable obstacles.
With Bryce Dallas Howard and Seth Gabel.
