Next Saturday, August 17, the Cuban Ministry of Agriculture will organize Agricultural Fairs in all municipalities of Havana, offering residents the opportunity to purchase a variety of fresh agricultural products at affordable prices.

Among the places where these fairs will be held are:

  • Revolution Square: John Lennon Park, 17th Street.
  • Playa: 13th and 76th Street.
  • East Havana: 160th Street between 3rd A and 3rd B, in front of the Prosecutor’s Office, Alamar Playa People’s Council.
  • Ruler: Calixto García Street between Amburquenque and Ruviera, Guaicanamar Popular Council.
  • Guanabacoa: Amphitheater in San Juan Bosco and Corral Falso.
  • Saint Michael of Padron: Main Street and Güines Causeway.
  • Mariano: 124th Street, Civic Plaza.
  • To Lisa: 51st Avenue, between 212 and 218, in front of Banco San Rafael.
  • Boyeros: 184 Avenue and 321 Rancho Boyeros, La Herradura, Boyeros Council.
  • Parrot: 26th of July Square.
  • Cerro: La Normal Park.
  • Central Havana: Valle Street from Infanta to Hospital, Cayo Hueso People’s Council.
  • Old Havana: Zulueta Street between Corrales and Apodaca.
  • Naranjo Creek: Menocal Mantilla Avenue and extension on Rosario Avenue, La Güinera.
  • October 10th: Vista Alegre People’s Council, Giral Street from Concepción to Passage B.

Offers

The fairs will offer a wide range of products, including root vegetables, vegetables, grains, fruits, charcoal, as well as processed products and preserved fruits and vegetables. Below is a list of approved prices per pound:

The price of a bag of charcoal will be $450.
