A spokesman for the ministry, Igor Konashenkov, said that air, missile and artillery strikes targeted several locations of Ukrainian units, and a temporary deployment point for foreign mercenaries, according to him.

These statements came hours following the Ukrainian army announced earlier today that its forces continued to advance in the north in Kharkiv, and in the south as well, following the rapid fall of the main stronghold of Russian forces, in the northeast of the country.
