Patrushev pointed out that NATO instructors and advisers are preparing the Ukrainian military, while on the front lines there are mercenaries from these countries who are fighting as part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“In trying to prolong this warlike confrontation as long as possible, they do not hide their main objective, to defeat Russia on the battlefield and disintegrate it followingwards,” he added.
Putin announced on Saturday an agreement with Belarus, a country that shares a border with Ukraine, for the deployment on its territory of tactical nuclear weapons.
In an interview with public television, he announced that the training of the Belarusian military will begin on April 3 and on July 1 the underground silo will be built to house said weapons.
