In the arena, the dancers gaze at each other before beginning their movements. Around 9:30 p.m., three dancers come forward. Lussy Sky, Drewd and Raptor are Ukrainian, from Navi Crew. Arrived in Pessac at the end of the followingnoon following a complicated journey from Poland because of the strikes, they intend to impose their style on the track. “We train a little less than before, but now we have the experience and the style so we are confident,” explains Lussy Sky in English. Accustomed to the Pessac Battle Arena, this is his third participation.
Other nationalities are present, from Venezuela, Japan, United States and France. “It’s one of the highest levels we’ve had, assures Teddy Hardvin. We have the next French generation dancing here. “Several participants are expected to participate in the 2024 Olympics.
