Naguib added, during television statements, that the price of a gram of 21 karat gold reached 1140 pounds at the end of yesterday, Thursday, recording a decrease of 35 pounds from Wednesday’s price.
The Secretary-General of the Gold Division of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce explained that the reason behind the decline in gold prices today is closely related to the drop in the price of an ounce in global markets from $1880 to $1836, during Thursday’s trading.
