Riyadh: In connection with the 93rd National Day, the Saudi Entertainment Authority said that a variety of celebrations will be staged in all areas of the country. The authority has released the details of the programs. Each event will be a celebration of the past and sharing aspirations for a prosperous future. The authority also stated that this National Day under the title ‘We Dream, We Achieve’ will witness the best cultural performances.
On National Day, 23rd of this month, military and civilian aircraft carrying the national flag will perform a spectacular aerial exercise titled ‘We Race Dreams’ in Riyadh, Twaif, Albaha, Asir and Tabuk. A similar show will be arranged on the Corniche in Jeddah’s north on Wednesday (Sept. 20). The show will also be at Khobar Corniche on 27th of this month. Government and private agencies will participate in the program.
Royal Guard, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of National Guard, State Security, General Authority of Civil Aviation, Airport Companies, Saudi Air Navigation Services Company, Saudi Aviation Club, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Flynas, Radio and Television Corporation will participate in the celebrations. The main events of the National Day will be telecasted live on Saudi channel.
A military parade of more than a kilometer will be held in which various military units, cavalry and military vehicles will take part to commemorate the country’s achievements in the past decades. There will be bands from the Royal Guard, National Guard and Border Guards. ‘Pride of the Nation 2’ is being held following the success of last year’s event and good turnout. The Ministry of Home Affairs will also participate in the National Day celebrations with various programmes. It will introduce the achievements and developments achieved by the Ministry of Home Affairs in the field of security. This event will be held for four days from the 21st to the 24th of this month at the Riyadh Friend Area.
More than 15 different locations will have fireworks that will color the skies of the country. Boulevard City in Riyadh, Promenade in Jeddah, King Abdullah Park in Dammam, Northern Khobar Corniche, King Abdullah Environmental Park in Al Ahsa, King Abdullah National Park in Buraidah, Al Sadd Park in Alfan Street in Abah, King Fahd Central Park in Madinah, Hail Al Salam Park, Al Nadeem Central Park in Tabuk, Al Bahah Fireworks will be set off at Amir Hussam Park, Aljouf Amanat Park in Sakaka, Corniche Road Walkway in Jizan, Housing Park in University District in Najran, King Abdullah Park in Twaif and Water Tower in Arar.

As a special event this year, a drone show will take place in the skies of Riyadh on National Day (Sept. 23) at 9pm near Riyadh Boulevard City. The drones will use laser beams to paint the figures of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the national flag in the sky.
