Born in Turkey to Jewish parents, Metin Arditi discovered Switzerland at a boarding school at the end of the 1950s, before studying there, becoming naturalized and then pursuing a career as a businessman. At the age of 50, he turned to his passion for writing, first with essays on Machiavelli or Nietzsche, then in around twenty novels, including “Le Turquetto”, “Black Carnival” or “The Bastard of Nazareth”, published last March. Former president of the Orchester de la Suisse Romande, he shares his life between Geneva and Paris and has created active foundations in Israel and the occupied West Bank.
