We can now enjoy the teaser for Horizon: Call of the Mountain

We can already take a first look at the new teaser for Horizon: Call of the Mountain, the spin-off of Aloy’s adventures in VR format.

Taking the launch of Forbidden West just around the corner, its developers have taken the opportunity to surprise us with the teaser de Horizon: Call of the Mountain. We are talking regarding an experience for virtual reality of which we still know little, whose argument is independent of the main deliveries.

In this little preview released by the guys from Guerrilla GamesWe can barely glimpse regarding twenty seconds of the future game. In them, we contemplate in all its splendor, one of the mythical long necks that Aloy had to climb in Zero Dawn to scan the map of each area. And the truth is that the result is quite spectacular.

Beyond that, we don’t know many details regarding this experience. We do not know its possible date or duration, or it will also appear for the Ps4 glasses. It does seem that in the title we can see Aloy, although it is almost certain that we will not control her.

The game is being created for the future PlayStation VR2, the new version of the virtual reality headset that Sony is preparing. In case anyone has been hibernating this last year, we are going to remind you of their specifications.

The panel of the new glasses is still Oled, with a refresh rate of between 90 and 120 Hz. Its resolution increases to 2000 x 2040 pixels for each eye, raising the bar considerably from the 1080 x 1200 of the previous version. The field of vision also sees its range increased, going from 100 to 110 degrees.

In addition, it has a movement sensor made up of a gyroscope and an accelerometer, each with three axes, apart from 4 cameras for tracking the glasses. It also has a built-in microphone, and a stereo headphone jack connector.

Unfortunately, we do not yet know a release date for the device. What we do know is that accompanying the new VR glasses, Sony will also launch some controllers created specifically for them, of which you have in the following link more details.

Let’s go!
