Christophe Galfard’s work is an odyssey in space and time, illustrated with photos of galaxies, stars, nebulae: “With the James Webb telescope we have managed to go so far into space and therefore go back so far in time that we can see the first galaxies formed” explains the physicist. The latter, through the photos in this book, also talks about his approach to infinity: “Our own galaxy, we gave it a name, it’s the Milky Way. And in the image that opens the book, we have our position inside our galaxy and I can tell you that we are almost not seen“.
