Villa La Angostura was once once more the meeting point between former President Mauricio Macri and the head of the Buenos Aires Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta. In his account on the social network Twitter, along with a photograph of both, Rodríguez Larreta added: “In addition, we are certain that the time to do it is now, with a serious and sustained plan over time. They are 20 years working together, exchanging ideas and building a shared vision of the course our country has to follow.
The meeting took place in the country El Cumelén, which Macri owns in Villa La Angostura, where he usually spends the summers.
Rodriguez Larreta He was with his girlfriend Milagros Maylin in Neuquén in a few days off and this new meeting was agreed, the second so far in 2023.
The interview is also part of the internal bid of the PRO between the head of the Buenos Aires Government and the president of the party, Patricia Bullrich, both with presidential aspirations this year.
Last week, Bullrich stayed at Macri’s house, shared meals and walks, and also published a picture of both with their respective partners.
That photo of Macri and the former Security Minister was read as a sign of favoritism -taking into account that the first meeting with Rodríguez Larreta had not had images-, something that came to balance with this meeting and subsequent postcard.
Although Macri has not yet defined whether or not he will be a candidate for president this year, for the moment he remains the PRO’s shipowner and a point of reference for the party’s aspirants, who are going to visit him in his southern ranch.
It is expected that in the coming days the ex-president will continue with the political interviews in Villa La Angostura.
