A carabinero who was in Franco managed to arrest some subjects who robbed a Central Station premises on July 20. The individuals tried to escape on a motorcycle, but the uniformed man lunged at the motorcycle and managed to reduce the thieves. What was caught on video.
A video recorded arrest of three individuals who carried out a robbery on July 20 in the Central Station districtin the Metropolitan region.
The incident occurred at noon on Calle Radal and Victoria, where a 1st Corporal Carabinieri who was out on duty and waiting his turn at a hairdresser, observed three individuals who arrived on a motorcycle, two of them getting off armed with firearms.
The individuals entered the Western Union business premises located at that intersection, carrying out a robbery with intimidation.
The policeman, realizing that following the assault was completed, the antisocials quickly left and got on the motorcycle to flee the scene, the uniformed officer pounced on the moving motorcycle, managing to stop the march of the individuals, with whom he fell to the ground.
The corporal quickly snatched the weapons from one of the criminals, being able to reduce the three subjects. This can be seen in the record where the policeman holds them back with both legs and points the gun at them.
All this in view of the people who were passing through said intersection at that time, who helped to retain the subjects while Police personnel arrived from the 21st Central Station Police Station.
In addition, in the video you can hear how the thieves are insulted by passers-by who shouted things at them like “we are going to catch them” or “there are many eyes everywhere, they cannot do these weas here”.
Subjects were formalized for robbery with intimidation
It is worth mentioning that the detainees are of Venezuelan nationality and all entered the country illegally.
In addition, the subjects were formalized this Friday for the crime of robbery with intimidation.
On the other hand, according to preliminary information, the motorcycle would be a participant in various crimes committed in the eastern sector of Santiago.
