The fundraiser for Ukraine in Villach is in full swing, and the people of Draustadt are taking a huge part in it. Five fully loaded trucks with a wide variety of goods have already been sent to the Ukraine. Two more truck loads will follow today.
“It’s very emotional”
The action at the main fire station in Villach began on March 1st. The willingness to help is enormous. “It’s crazy how many people want to help. It’s also very emotional here,” says the commander of the main fire station Harald Geissler 5 minutes opposite. “Everyone is also disciplined, mainly things are brought that are really needed. Only once was there an old lost bike, otherwise there are also many who ask us what they should buy and then bring it over specially. We are very happy about the large participation.”
The willingness to help of the residents of Villach knows no bounds.

Above all, these goods are still needed
At present, there are still mainly hygiene items and food needed. But disposable tableware, candles and everything you might need in an emergency are also welcome goods. Clothing is no longer needed until further notice. here you will find the current packing list.
