Signed on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony of the CTTH water recycling platform, by the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Ryad Mezzour, the President of the CCTH, Jalil Rais and the President of AMITH, Anass El Ansari, this agreement focuses on supporting professionals in the textile and clothing industry in the implementation of technical and technological solutions intended for water saving and wastewater recycling.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Mezzour underlined the importance of rational water management, sustainability and innovation, noting that the CTTH is a laboratory which brings together production, management and recycling processes. and water treatment, aimed at strengthening the sustainability of the national textile industry.
For his part, Mr. Rais affirmed that the CTTH has been committed for several years to playing its role as a driver of technical development for the textile and clothing industry, by offering companies in the sector a wide range of services.
This involves technical assistance, testing and quality control, energy and ecological monitoring, research and development, innovation, certification and recycling of wastewater.
This program will make it possible to develop effective and profitable solutions which will contribute to the protection of the environment and the sustainable development of the textile and clothing sector in Morocco, he said.
For his part, Mr. El Ansari affirmed that the framework agreement signed today will make it possible to use new methods of recycling wastewater, noting that the textile sector consumes large quantities of water.
