the essentials Close to Toulouse, in the town of Cugnaux, the management of the Henri-Matisse high school calls for caution. In an email, she announced to parents some failures in the water network. Several symptoms such as headaches or vomiting might be experienced by adolescents and staff.
What is happening with the water in this school? It is in particular the quality of the water which is singled out. “The water at school had a strange taste and color,” reported a student a few months ago.

Vomiting or headache
According to the management of the Henri-Matisse high school in Cugnaux, the failures were caused by the Toulouse Métropole services which carried out “work with a cutoff on the city’s water network”. It is this construction site which would therefore have impacted the color and quality of the water used by high school students and staff. Still according to the establishment, the work was carried out “without warning and therefore without anticipating the consequences”.
