Although his reflection had good supportive comments, most of them resulted in jokes and ironic messages through social networks.
Wednesday followingnoon Karol Lucero published a video on her social networks where she reflects on the scarcity of water and makes a call to take care of it. However, for the internet it was not as serious as he made it out to be, since he received a wave of ironic comments regarding it.
The former Yingo boy became a trend in networks following posting a video in which he is seen touring some places in Europe, specifically where he found water sources, on the street and in parks. There he noticed why they gave that use to the important resource.
“Unfortunately, this image of running water without stopping is repeated in many places in Europe. We have been in Italy, in Austria, in the Netherlands, in Croatia, in Hungary and now in Switzerland, and we see how this episode of water waste is repetitive”, he says in the video.
“I hope the authorities do something. It is not possible that in the year 2022, when the planet is in drought, it will be wasted in this way. How much does it cost to put a stopcock? Hopefully something will be done. Water is the gold of the planet, ”she added.
Before his reflection, Internet users noticed how “obvious” the water shortage was and that there were “more important” cases of loss. Although the video had good supportive comments, most of it resulted in jokes and tongue-in-cheek messages.
“Karol Dance discovers the water sources,” said a Twitter user. “Scientists in Chile are concerned. The detachment of glaciers in the south of Chile are details, this weá (sic) of the Charoll sources are more important”, ironized another.
Along with the video, Karol Lucero also wrote some words. “Drought is a problem all over the world and reuse also spends a lot of energy in the recycling process, so a key is a good saving measure,” he said.
He also asked for dissemination. “Share this video so that hopefully it reaches some authority that can do something regarding it; even in the Vatican and in front of the UN this happens. LET’S TAKE CARE OF WATER! IT IS EVERYONE’S TASK”, he concluded.
