7 areas in Giza Governorate are witnessing a disruption drinking waterFor a period of 6 hours to carry out the work of replacing and renewing the pumps of the Dahab Island water station, starting from twelve o’clock at night on Friday evening until six o’clock in the morning tomorrow, Saturday.
The Giza Governorate noted that the areas affected by the water cut are “Al-Moneeb – Al-Qasbaji – Al-Umraniya Al-Sharqiah – Al-Bahr Al-Adham Street – Rabie Al-Jizi Street – Sakiyat Makki – Giza Square.”
For his part, Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, directed the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company to adhere to the set schedule of works to naturally pump water to the affected areas upon completion of the works, and also directed the heads of the concerned neighborhoods to follow up in coordination with the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company.
Giza Governorate called on citizens and public and private establishments to manage their drinking water needs during the interruption period.
The Giza Drinking Water and Sanitation Company will also provide cars loaded with clean water for drinking purposes to go to the affected areas upon request on the emergency number 125 to meet their needs immediately.
