A number of residents of the village of Manshaat Al-Safa, affiliated to the Kafr El-Sheikh center, complained about the water being cut off for a period of up to 4 consecutive days throughout the village, which caused a state of discontent among them as a result of this.
The people of the village explained that they had submitted many complaints about the water cuts to the Water and Sewerage Company in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, as they were informed that there is periodic maintenance work being carried out by the company and that the water will return during the coming hours, but this did not happen.
The people indicated that they were surprised 4 days ago by cutting off the water, and it did not return until today, and that tomorrow is the blessed Eid al-Adha, which means that they will receive the holiday without water.

For his part, the drinking water district in Kafr El-Sheikh confirmed, according to its director, Eng. Salah Makram, that water will be pumped in the current period to all areas from which water was cut off in the past days, due to purification works in the canals in the areas from which drinking water is supplied, referring to the station. The one responsible for delivering water to the village of Manshiyet Al-Safa has now returned to work.
Cutting off water on Eid al-Adha:
And the water and sanitation companies in all governorates of the Arab Republic of Egypt announced that they would raise the maximum level of readiness during the blessed Eid Al-Adha period, which will start from tomorrow, Wednesday, June 28, to prevent any water cuts in any areas, stressing that an accident will be dealt with immediately and quickly. In the event of any problem, in addition to allocating numbers to communicate 24 hours a day with customer service to file complaints in the event of any water cuts.
