watchOS 9.4 makes it harder to accidentally turn off alarms

At the beginning of the week, Apple released to developers and users enrolled in its testing program versions Release Candidate (RC) versions of your major operating systems.

In addition to iOS 16.4, Apple also took advantage of the RC release of watchOS 9.4 to make some major changes to the Apple Watch system, as well as to expand some of the watch’s existing features.

As noted by MacRumorsin the new version of the system it will no longer be possible to silence an alarm by resting your hand on the Apple Watch for three seconds while the Fire I am is activated. The purpose of this change, according to Apple, is precisely to prevent the user from turning off an alarm by accident while sleeping.

In addition to this novelty, the update will take the Cycle Tracking (Cycle Tracking) with estimates of ovulations to two more countries: Moldavia e Ukraine. This feature, it is worth remembering, was introduced with watchOS 9 and uses the new temperature sensors of the Apple Watches Series 8 and Ultra to work. As we explained at the time, the feature alerts users to predicted fertility windows and menstrual cycle deviations.

Finally, another feature introduced by watchOS 9 to receive similar treatment in this update is the History of Atrial Fibrillation (AFib History), which shows a report of the user’s irregular heartbeat rate. As of this version, the novelty will also be accessible to Apple watch owners on Colombiaalready Malaysiaalready Moldaviaalready thailand by you Ukraine.

Both the Cycle Monitoring with ovulation estimates and the Atrial Fibrillation History are already available in Brazil, it is worth remembering.

If no adjustments need to be made to this watchOS 9.4 RC, it is quite possible that the new version will be released to the general public as early as next week, considering the launch date of the Apple Music Classical app: March 28 (Tuesday).
