watchOS 10 and tvOS 17 will run on all backward compatible devices

In addition to iOS/iPadOS 17 and macOS Sonoma, Apple has also introduced o watchOS 10a significant update to the operating system that runs on Apple Watches.

The big news of the update is the new way to view information directly on the watch faces through widgets. Users can now scroll to Digital Crown to reveal a Smart Set (Smart Stack) of widgets and complications.

In addition, the apps received a significant redesign. An example of this is the Clock app (Clock), which now displays background colors that reflect the time of day in different time zones.

tvOS 17

Apple also announced the tvOS 17, the new version of Apple TV’s operating system. Highlights include a redesigned Control Center that gives you quick access to smart home and AirPods controls. In addition, tvOS 17 brings FaceTime through the Continuity Camera feature, allowing the use of the iPhone as a webcam.

In terms of compatibility, both the Apple TV HD as all generations of Apple TV 4K will receive the update, maintaining the same compatibility as tvOS 16.
