Al-Marsad Newspaper: A video clip documented the reception of the King of Bahrain, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, at the Sakhir Palace in Manama, on Tuesday, with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who is visiting the Kingdom.
The King of Bahrain welcomed the Israeli Prime Minister, expressing his hope that his visit would contribute to advancing cooperation relations to more advanced positive steps that serve mutual interests, according to Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
The Bahraini monarch discussed with the Israeli Prime Minister various aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and opportunities to enhance and develop it, especially in vital sectors of mutual interest.
“The talks took place in a way that achieves the aspirations of the two countries for broader horizons of cooperation and fruitful joint work, within the framework of what was included in the Declaration of Support for Peace and the Ibrahim Principles Agreement signed between the two sides,” according to Bana.
During the meeting, the two sides affirmed to continue supporting bilateral relations and joint work in a way that enhances their interests and serves security, stability, development and prosperity in the region.
Bennett expressed his happiness to visit Bahrain to continue enhancing joint cooperation for the benefit of the two countries, noting the King’s keenness and interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
