Al-Marsad newspaper – SPA: The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority managed to thwart the smuggling of 1,100,000 narcotic pills, which were found hidden in a consignment that was received in the Kingdom through the port of Jeddah Islamic Port.
The authority explained that a consignment of “toys, clothes and various goods” was received, and during the inspection process, that quantity of narcotic pills was found hidden inside the contents of the consignment.
She added that following coordinating with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, in order to ensure the arrest of the recipients of the seizures inside the Kingdom, the 5 persons who received them were arrested, thanks to God.
