Al-Marsad newspaper: A video clip circulating on social media has documented the citizens performing the “Dha Dance” during a celebration in one of the Kingdom’s regions.
The participants in the Dha dance stood in two rows facing each other and started clapping, while a person entered between the two rows and was met by others from the other side.
The participants in the dance chanted a number of the agreed upon verses during the performance of the dance, inside one of the halls, as the video clip showed.
It is worth noting that the Dhaha dance is performed collectively, where the men line up in one or two opposite rows, and the poet in the middle of one of the rows sings his poem.
The two rows are sung alternately (Al-Radadah), which is the pre-arranged line between each line of poetry recited by the poet.
