A new scam, one more, is circulating in the Liège region. And the latter takes the energy crisis as its playground.
Resa, the gas and electricity distributor in the province of Liège, warns: “Customers have told us that they have received a telephone call from a company claiming to act on behalf of Resa. The sales people offer you energy savers that can, supposedly, allow you to save 30% of the amount of your energy bill. These dishonest people are actually trying to extract information from you and your bank details! »
A word of advice: hang up directly if you receive this kind of phone call. “Be vigilant and above all, do not, under any circumstances, transmit sensitive banking information by telephone, such as your secret codes or other information that might be used to harm you! Resa warns once more.
