Al-Marsad newspaper: The Israeli army spokesman, Avichai Adraei, revealed on Monday that the preliminary investigation indicates that what happened near the city of Tulkarm in the West Bank was not a shooting attack.
Adraee said on his Twitter account: “From the initial investigation, it is clear that the discussion is not regarding a shooting,” explaining that “the circumstances of the shooting are still being examined.”
Sources said, according to Al-Arabiya, that the shooting was between two Israeli forces by mistake, and there was a wounded soldier.
This came following Adraee had announced earlier on Monday that a shooting attack had taken place on Monday near Tulkarm.
He said in a tweet that there were reports of a shooting attack in the “seam area” near Tulkarm.
