The Kingdom celebrates the National Day for the Unification of the Kingdom on September 23 of each year.
This date goes back to the royal decree issued by the founding King Abdul Aziz No. 2716, and the date of 17 Jumada I 1351 AH, which stipulated the transfer of the name of the state from the Kingdom of Hejaz and Najd and its annexes to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, starting on Thursday, Jumada I 21 1351 AH corresponding to the first From Libra, corresponding to September 23, 1932 AD.
