Watch.. A “Saudi” young man tells the story of his work in the profession of making knives inside his house in Qatif.. and sends a message about the price

Al-Marsad Newspaper: Citizen Hashem Al-Awami told the story of his work in the field of knife industry inside his house in Qatif, indicating that he aspires to establish a knife factory in the Kingdom.

He said during an interview with Al-Arabiya TV: “My passion for making knives began in 2017 following many views on YouTube, and I gathered enough information so that I might work by myself.”

And he continued: In 2019, I actually started working, and I built the workshop, and I started making hunting knives, scraps, and cooking, indicating that he mastered this industry professionally, and many people in the Eastern Province and Riyadh own his knives.

And he added: Knives are different, including what is used for vegetables, breaking bones and cutting meat. As for metals, they are a big world, for example there is the Damascene metal.

He added: After a period of time, I gained a lot of information, and I began to train those who have a passion, pointing out that it is still a hobby for him, and the money he gets is spent on the workshop, in order to develop it.

He indicated that he aspires to be the first Saudi to own a knife factory, and hopes that people will understand that the price set by the craftsman depends on the work and expenses.
