Story details

It is noteworthy that the story of the child began at around ten in the morning on Saturday, when he went with a group of his friends to the Boumdid Dam, where they usually swim.

When 11-year-old Shabu was swimming in the waters of the dam, torrents from the neighboring Tekan plateau surprised him and surrounded him from all sides, which made him seek help with a concrete rock, and he stood on it waiting for help.

The floods continued to flood the place for several hours, while the child was attached to the rock, according to local media.

Attempts failed

In addition, a number of citizens gathered around the place, some of whom tried to carry out attempts to save him, without result, while others were making calls and invitations to the young child to resist sleeping and cling to hope.

While his father was watching with the parents, his only son was trapped in the torrential rain, without being able to save him, pleading with him not to give in to fatigue.
