Al-Marsad newspaper: Emergency medicine consultant, Dr. Tariq Al-Thubaiti, revealed the most prominent causes of a heart attack, and signs of the disease.
He said during an interview with Al-Ikhbariya channel: “The causes of heart attack are chronic diseases, obesity, psychological stress, high cholesterol, diabetes, and drug abuse.” Pointing out that all of these causes lead to strokes and clogged arteries.
He added: “There are precursors before a heart attack, which is angina pectoris, where there is incomplete blockage of the arteries, and it is stable angina, where the person feels pain in the chest, for 5 minutes, and is unstable, when the rest time comes and the period is prolonged and the person feels pain in the middle of the chest.” And moving to the shoulders and jaw with a feeling of dizziness, pointing out that these are introductions before the complete blockage of the arteries, and most patients have these symptoms, and it ends with a heart attack.
