The United States intends to boycott the meetings G20 Summit Which Russia attends because of war in ukraine.
An official said US Treasury To reporters, today, Monday, that US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, who will represent the United States this week during the G-20 summit, will boycott certain sessions if Russia participates in them.
In a statement, the ministry warned that the United States and its allies “will continue their combined efforts to increase economic pressure on Russia.”
A Treasury official indicated that those who would try to evade these sanctions would be targeted, according to the “Archyde.com” agency.
US President Joe Biden called, previously, to cancel Russia’s membership in the G-20 forum in response to its invasion of Ukraine on February 24. China refused.
