The White House has announced that the time is “too short” for Iran to accept a return to the international agreement over its controversial nuclear program.
“There is an offer on the table” and “the Iranians should accept it,” White House spokesman John Kirby told reporters after negotiators from Iran and the international community resumed talks in Vienna.
He added: “You heard the president say we will not wait forever for Iran to accept the offer.”
He continued, “I will not describe it and say the last effort, but it seems that time is very short in terms of the ability to reach an agreement.”
