The US State Department has called on the CSTO forces to leave Kazakhstan following the country’s authorities request it.
And US State Department spokesman Ned Price said during a press conference on Monday, that “it should leave Kazakhstan when its authorities request it.”
Washington had criticized the deployment of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) forces, especially the Russian forces, in Kazakhstan once morest the backdrop of the country’s unrest.
It is noteworthy that the President of Kazakhstan went to the Collective Security Treaty Organization on January 5 with a request to send troops to “fight the terrorist threat” in the country once morest the backdrop of protests that turned into riots and violence.
