Only until March 31, Varsovians have a chance to submit applications for subsidies for the implementation of selected ecological investments. Subsidies from the city can be obtained for the liquidation of asbestos and the so-called low retention.

Every year, Warsaw grants subsidies for the implementation of eco-investments. Only in 2022, the city spent regarding PLN 34 million for this purpose, of which the largest amount – PLN 25.6 million – was spent on investments related to the replacement of Cinderella.
They can count on support from residents who want to remove asbestos-containing products or waste. Although according to the law, property owners and managers have until the end of 2032 to do so, the city is encouraging them to do so now. The co-financing covers the disassembly, packaging and transport of asbestos-containing products and transferring them to a hazardous waste landfill. Varsovians can count on coverage of up to 100 percent. incurred costs.
Residents investing in the so-called small retention, i.e. installations for retaining and using rainwater and meltwater at the place of their creation. Here, the maximum subsidy is up to 80%. investment costs, but it cannot exceed 4 thousand. PLN for natural persons and 10 thousand. PLN for other entities.
How and when to apply?
Grant applications can only be submitted until the end of this month. The date of submission of the document is considered to be the date of its receipt by the Office of the Capital City of Warsaw. of Warsaw.

Residents applying for co-financing should remember that the investment cannot start before the conclusion of the subsidy agreement.
Other eco-subsidies Warsaw also grants subsidies for the replacement of Cinderella. Residents can count on support of up to 70 percent. investment costs. In this case, applications are accepted throughout the year. In turn, on September 1, the next call for applications for co-financing for the installation of renewable energy sources will start.
