Warriors beat Póvoa de Varzim before their debut in the African Championship of Egypt – news

The National Senior Men’s Handball Team beat, this Monday, the Portuguese team from Póvoa de Varzim, by 26-20, in preparation for the African Nations Championship, which will be played from the 17th to the 27th of this year, in Cairo (Egypt).

The coach of the Angolan national team, Filipe Cruz, has been improving the offensive aspects, without losing sight of the defensive recovery, in order to have an exemplary performance in the competition.

In the first private match, the “Guerreiros” beat FC Porto B, by 35-33. In the second match, the Angolans defeated Águas das Antas, 28-26, having repeated the result with Cape Verde.

Remember that the Angolan team, which aims to improve its classification from the last edition (8th position), will progress in group D with Tunisia, Kenya and Nigeria.
