A lawsuit once morest US actor Warren Beatty alleging abuse of a minor in 1973 has been dismissed. A judge in Los Angeles justified his decision on Friday by saying that the plaintiff had not submitted necessary documents to the court. The judge also denied the plaintiff the opportunity to file the lawsuit once more.

The lawsuit once morest the now 86-year-old actor was filed last year under a California law that temporarily lifted the statute of limitations for child sexual abuse cases.

The plaintiff accused Beatty of having forced her into “sexual contact” and ultimately into sexual intercourse several times in 1973, when she was then 14 or 15 years old. The then 35-year-old took advantage of “his position and his status as an adult and Hollywood star.”

According to the plaintiff, she met Beatty on a film set. He later invited her, among other things, to the hotel where he was staying.

Beatty became world famous, among other things, for his role in the 1967 film “Bonnie and Clyde” regarding the legendary gangster couple. Over the course of his long career he also worked as a director, producer and screenwriter.
