SPRINGFIELD, Mich. —

A homicide warrant has been issued for a West Michigan man accused of killing a woman at a Calhoun County trailer park.

Detectives found Della Brown, 54, of Springfield, dead following being called to Avenue A Trailer Park for a welfare check on Dec. 14, according to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.

Her official cause of death has not yet been released.

A person of interest, Paul Hall, 57, of Battle Creek, was later found driving in Bloomington, Illinois, but refused to stop for police, deputies said.

He was eventually arrested on unrelated charges.

As of Tuesday, Hall remains in custody on a parole violation, according to Calhoun County Public Information Officer Lucy Blair.

Because of the homicide warrant, Hall will likely be transferred back to Calhoun County, Blair said.
