Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Executive Wasim Khan has warned the team in New Zealand after six players tested positive, if they do not follow the guidelines related to Corona, they will be sent back.

Wasim Khan clarified the players in his audio message and said that ‘I have received a message from New Zealand Cricket and the New Zealand government that 6 players have tested positive’.

“His message was that there have been three or four violations, Cricket New Zealand has zero tolerance and he has given us a final warning,” he said.

Addressing the players, he said that ‘I know this is a difficult time and it is not easy for you, I worked in similar conditions in England and it is a matter of honor for the country, so complete the 14 days. After which there will be freedom’.

He said that after that you people will have the freedom to go in and out of restaurants in New Zealand, but for now follow the protocols fully because they have told me if there is another breach, they will send the whole team straight back. .

The chief executive of PCB said that ‘It is a matter of national honor and respect for the country and if they send the team back from New Zealand, it will be a disgrace’.

He said, ‘I know it’s difficult for you but please follow the protocols they have given because there is no room for error with the New Zealand government.’

Wasim Khan reiterated New Zealand’s message and said that ‘they have given their last warning, if there is another violation, they will send us back straight away and will not compromise with us on health and safety’.

To the players of the national team, he said, ‘It’s difficult for you but do it for your country and that’s all there is for full cooperation and follow the protocols’.

It should be remembered that the national team left for New Zealand from Lahore on November 23.

Before the departure from Lahore to New Zealand, the Pakistani team’s squad and management were tested four times for Corona and all four times these tests came negative, after which the squad was allowed to leave for the country of Kiwis.

Opening batsman Fakhar Zaman was left out of the squad after developing symptoms and did not travel with the team to New Zealand.

Later it was also revealed that on the first day of isolation after arriving in New Zealand, some members of the Pakistani team violated the rules and protocols, on which no action has been taken yet, but the New Zealand cricket authorities.
